Anyone load for this and has anyone tried it? I had issues w/ Benchmark in hot weather. Decided to try this powder. Not looking for loading data - I'll work up my loads. Just curious what others have experienced with this powder & this cal.

I'll be loading it with Sierra Game King 55gr Spitzer Boat Tails.

I can't help you with 4895 powder. I load with H380 with best results. Tryed varget but not the groups I was expecting. H380 WORKS.

Thanks. I tried to stick to extruded powders because they supposedly were not as picky about temp - Benchmark worked great in cool weather, but I had 150+ fps variations in high temps. So much for that theory. I have some 4895, so I'll see how it goes. May switch if this does not work out.

I have been using 4895 for a lot of years in my 6mm rem., with70gr match bullets from sierra. Powder burns great, gives real good speed and cleans up well. also there is a new powder that I am using called
Ram Shot. Look it up on google. :D charlie sierra.
