I dont know much about reloading, but christmas is coming and I would like to get a press and start to reload for 20 ga, It would give me something to do over the winter and its hard to find 20 gauge 3" magnums around here. Few questions...

What do you reccomend, I do NOT need a progressive and I dont want to spend a fortune.

Is it difficult to learn? Can you also reccomend some good books on reloading.

What else do I need other than the press and dies?

Do you think I could handle it? A responsible 15 yr old (almost 16)
I know it is potentially dangerous and should not be approached lightly.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

20 ga press

When I started SHOT SHELL reloading it was with a LEE press. After about 2 months it litterly fell apart. I now have a MEC 700. I love it and highly recommend it. $100 + or -.

Lee load all, I'm over 1000 rounds with no hitches whatsovever.
Total investment of less that $40.00;)

I have made my money back and more.

Another vote for the Lee Load-All. Christmas gift from my wife several years ago. Cost all of $29.95 and has loaded thousands of 20 ga. shotshells. If you're just starting out, that's the way I would go. All you need is powder, shot, wads, primers, and empty hulls. Move up to something more elaborate later and you're not out very much.
Good luck, have fun, and be safe. Get a good loading manual.
