Well I bought a S&W 642 for my pocket today. I had carried a Keltec .32, but it stopped working 100% so it had to go. I always wanted a little snubby, and I am very happy with this one. I got snap caps for trigger practice, and Winchester 130 grn +P for carry:cool:. I think it will be my friend for a while, and I am glad I bought it.

You can't go wrong with a S&W snub. I carry a 637 OWB but can't pull off pocket carry with it. To me, it screams "Hey, I've got a gun in pocket!" so I just bought a LCP for that roll. But I digress, congrats on the S&W, it will serve you well.

Going to put a couple of hundred rounds through her tommorrow, I think she needs to be warmed up:p. We will see how I can handle that short barrel....

I doubt standard pressure ammo will be too bad. +P might be a bit snappy, but I doubt you'll find it to be unmanageable.
