1911 half cock issue

I just installed a new trigger and mainspring housing on my Para p16.40 1911.

Issue: When I pull the trigger on half cock - it drops the hammer. It is not supposed to.

Help! What did I do wrong in reassembly?

You did nothing wrong (at least in relation to the half cock).

Para uses the same Series 80 lock work as Colt and this includes a half cock shelf instead of the traditional half cock notch. The hammer is designed to fall from this position but it does not have enough energy to fire a round.
