Okay, I know we have had some 1911 picture threads and some threads where people posted group 1911s. However, I couldn't find any thread strictly for group pics of 1911s. So, let's see them (sorry, no pics of single 1911s). Here's mine, including a couple of "near" 1911s.

1911Group-1.jpg

All are in .45 acp unless otherwise noted:

1. Wilson Defensive Combat
2. Colt Combat Elite (from 1980s)
3. Colt Ultimate Officer
4. Springfield Loaded
5. Ed Brown Special Forces
6. Sig P238 in .380 (near 1911)
7. Ed Brown Special Forces Carry
8. Sig C3
9. Les Baer Stinger
10. Colt Satin Nickel Commander (9mm)
11. Colt Mustang in .380 (near 1911)

Dang Jim, nice shoot pieces. So which one is the cream of the crop?

Here's the only >1 pics I have:

Two tone is a Combat Elite, and the all SS is a Delta Elite.

Nice pair! My Combat Elite looks just like yours when I put the factory grips back on. The pic above is with wood grips.

Missed this earlier. Right now, I would say the full size Brown. I just recently acquired the Wilson and haven't given it a fair shake yet. I mostly carry the Sig, though, because it has an alloy frame and Officer grip frame.

Threesome

Although I have 8 1911s, the most I have photographed together is 3, shown below. They are all Colt Gold Cups - two .45s and a 10mm.

All right guys and gals I'll play!
Sorry about the crappy pic!

From left to right: Colt Super Lite Commander .38 Super, Colt 1911A1 (1943 Vintage) Bright blue with silver filled stampings and smooth ivories, Colt Gold Cup Comander (2-Tone) came with fixed sights and is #136 of 500, Colt Series 70 Government Model (Bright nickle) with Colt medalion ivories, Kimber Custom (Early production gun) NP3 finish with lots of extras and last but not least a Colt Combat Commander with some minor tuning.

Yes I know, I snuck a .38 Super in there! :D

Is .38 super just for targets? I've never heard of anyone carrying one CCW.
My Colt Super gets carried almost every week, along with my other favorites........................................................................................................................................
