1911 Assembly Books

I would like to get a good book that covers the complete disassembly and assembly of the 1911. Also, it would be nice if it covered some basic upgrades that are commonly done. While I have no problem reading large amounts of text the more pictures and illustrations included in the book the better. A friend of mine recommended some books by Jerry kuhnhausen, but he did not know the titles. I see that Brownells carries two by him, but again not sure exactly which titles are the best.

So, any good recommendations?

I am sure you will find a good book for your hard copy archiving needs which I too think is indespensible, but in the meantime check out Youtube and the like as it's invaluable in so many ways (I like to download videos and categorize them for future referral just as one would shelve books). The combination of old vs. new media has made for a virtual cornucopia of information unlike the days I grew up in whereby the highest form of tech in College was microfiche:rolleyes:.
