Evening all ,I have a short question on the colt 1851 reproduction guns,
Are the internal parts , I.E bolt/cylinder stop, trigger/ bolt spring ect, ect about the same for all makers ?.
I have a 45 year old Euroarms Brescia ( ASP ? ) and was wondering if could fit any other makers part in it,, (some fitting req,,;) ), don't need any parts yet but ya never know..
Thanks much..

I needed a new bolt for a Pietta '51 and ordered both Pietta and a Uberti. figuring shipping is more than the part. The Uberti bolt was the one I had to use because of the too long of bolt slot in the frame.

44Dave, in the morning I'm going to pull the bolt out of my pietta and see how it compares to the one in my euroarms , if it's a whole lot different then maybe Uberti is one,, who knows.
thanks.

Fitting a new bolt is not a drop in part, the steel in the Uberti one was very hard and most impossible to file. Used emery disc on a Dremel Tool.

Yer I figure some fitting would be in order , just want to see how "close" it is to the euroarms.
