No but I have .22 hornets. One of the more difficult rounds I had to work with to get under 1/2 MOA but it's a neat round now, just one that I don't have a lot of use for.

I have been shooting a 17 AH, the wildcat it came from for many years. The first thing I`ll tell you is that when working up a load for it increase powder charges by no more than 1/10 gr. Pressure in this small case go from safe to boom very fast. I shoot H-4227 powder and get excellent accuracy. You can get a little more velocity from Little Gun powder. It`s a great round for groundhogs and down.

With Lil'gun it's hard to see how you could kaboom one. Even if you filled the case completely and compressed the charge.

I handload for my Ruger in 17 Hornet

I bought the first Ruger I could find chambered in 17 Hornet back in 2012 and bought brass (and loaded ammo) whenever I could find it.

I've settled on a load of 9.3 grains of Lil Gun under a 20 grain ZMAX bullet.

That load gives me about 3500 fps and the accuracy node that I want.

At 100 yards or closer that load (properly placed) will knock a jackrabbits head smooth off:

Here's a link to a short video of my 17 rolling up a couple of jackrabbits at 200 and 225 yards respectively.
