16" to 10.5"

On a 9mm AR... any need to change the buffer/spring, or is it a try and see?

I'm going to SBR my Lone Wolf lower, which currently wears a 16" upper, and go to a 10.5".

You should already be running a 9mm buffer with a carbine spring. No need to change that set-up to run the shorter barrel.

Recoil systems have gotten the recoil impulse before the bullet exits either length

Yes this is their G9 dedicated lower, so it is already setup for 9mm.
