not impressed so far but i only tried 2 loads 28.2 and 28.5g of ppv
28.2 shot .732 edge to edge
28.5 shot .562 edge to edge
going to try 28.4 and 28.6 tommorow when theres enough light for the chrono

What was the velocity of those loads? Get a Labradar

dont know couldnt pull my chrono out , and i wasnt really to worried about it yet was just looking for a range were they shot decent . at 28.5 they are good so ill work in that area in .1 increments , from now on ill use the chrono

what i do know is 130g projectile is going just over 2600fps at 29.2g's of the powder im using and a 140g projectile moves at 2400 fps with 28g of powder

so if i had to make a guess atm id say theese are right in the 2500 fps range

Finally got around to shooting just a few more of the 135g a-tips out of the 6.5 grendel. just 4 rounds@100y .tried to beat the winds this am but they are already over 30mph so this was rushed af,was just no way to keep the wind from moving me around ,wasn't trying to b accurate but just get an idea and Chrono numbers .. 2512, 2515, 2519, 2515 fps for the 4 rounds , they show promise for sure

28.6g of alliant power pro varmint cci #400 hornaday brass oal of 2.260
if it wasnt for the wind moving me and the rifle around this would have been a excellent group

wont be able to push theese any harder and infact im going to back down to either 28.5 or 28.4g of ppv ive tested 28.5 and its good , im going to shoot 28.4 and see if its any better , either charge will put me just under 2500fps , and with the supressor i should be just over

btw grendels love heavy for caliber bullets some of the best shooting bullets i have shot are in the 130-140g class

130rdf 5 rds theese leave the muzzle at 2600 fps

I use Sierra 140 gr. and get one shot knockdown in most hunting scenarios.
Same load in my contender and AR.
Very consistant!
