10/22 Tech-sight problem

I recently put a set of tech-sights on my 10/22. The problem I have is with the front sight. The detent pin to hold the front post in place is stuck in the down position, so it won't hold a zero.

Has anyone else had this occur?
Do you know how to fix it?

I haven't seen that one before.....

Give tech sights a call and explain your situation. They stand firmly behind their product and whenever I have had an issue they quickly solved it and sent the appropriate part.

Use a non-marring tool (the handle of a screw-driver, or nylon tipped hammer) to tap on the sight base... that may make the plunger pop up.
