10/22 scope applications

what kind of scopes have some of you shooters been sporting on your 10/22's?

what distances have you been shooting with your 10/22?

Burris 4-12 Compact w/ Target Knobs.

I went all out and bought a nice Burris 4-12 power Compact scope with Target Knobs. I generally only shoot the gun at squirrels from 5 yards to 75 yards away. Anything over 75 gets handled with the Remington 700 VS.

I've got a Simmons 3-9x40 on my 10/22. It's pretty cheap and has worked well. I drill coke bottle caps at 100 yards easy with it, stock 10/22. Shoots really great at 100, haven't tried anything past that. At that range if I can see it and hold the rifle still enough I don't miss. Love that little gun...
