I've got an old marlin model 40 i recently picked up and the barrel is canted off to the right side so the sights are off a few degrees. it just looks like the barrel is not set right in the action. Any body know how the barrel is removed?

Does the 3 position safety that brownells sells lock the bolt shut such as on a Model 70? the catalog says it allows you to remove the bolt with the safety on or something like that but says nothing about locking it shut.

Can anybody tell me what the US miltary load for the 62 gr. SS-109, using WC 844, powder is? I have information that says I can use WC 345 and WC 748 data but there is about a grain difference. The powder container says 26.1 gr. for the green tips. The brass is surplus M193 made by Lake City...
