Be interesting if a reproduction of the walsh twelve shot navy could be manufactured.

So in a 44 russian 23 gr of bp under 246 gr bullets gets 750 fps 26 gr of bp with 246 gr bullet gets 770 fps in a 44 special. Why wouldn't a 255 gr bullet over 25 gr of 3f bp in a 44 mag get 650 fps (Currently i get 690 avg)

you can only use blackpowder revolver for back up here in arkansas' muzzleloader season(bear or deer). here is the question; if accuracy was not an issue, would i be better off with a 30 gr charge of 3F and a .457 rb or 25 gr charge of 3F and 200 gr conical? which would have better penetration...
