I came across a rifle I can find little information on. It's a Remington Sportsman mod 78. It has a custom heavy barrel in .17Mach IV. Can the Sportman's be re-barreled? I'd be interested in making it a .223. Thanks, Dave

I picked up a used SA 1911 and the plunger was stuck inside the tube on the safety end. Inspection showed it to be bent. I went to purchase a new one from Midway and ran accross this: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=633934 Is it suppose to look bent? Dave

In case you didn't know, Kel Tec is making a 9 round magazine for the P3AT. This jumps the capacity from 6+1 to 9+1. Still fits in the pocket and doesn't feel any heavier. Also gives your fingers something to hang on to. Here's some pics. Dave

My back yard has a split rail fence. My wife noticed a squirrel sitting on the fence eating a snake. He was chewing on the tail end while the snake was squirming frantically trying to escape. We were shooting Saturday when someone said "Hey, look at the snake".:eek: It's a pigmy rattlesnake. About 12-14 inches long. He's curled up under the canopy catchin' some shade.

I passed on a beautiful Dan Wesson 357 mod 15-2. ~ 90% with a 6" barrel for $325. Should I have grabbed it?:confused: Dave
