Was pulling some 158gr JHP .357 mag bullets with an inertia bullet puller when just the lead came out leaving the jacket still in the case. Haven't figured out how to get the jacket out. Tried needle nose pliers, didn't work. Don't know if firing just a jacket is safe or using a tube cutter on...

Pickup some Tin Star powder to use in 200gr 44 Special and 200gr 45 Colt. Only to fine out there is no data for either of these bullets for these cartridges. Bummer.

I have several hundred small magnum primers on hand that I used with 296. I'm currently using 14gr of 2400 with 158gr JHP and standard primers in my 357 but would like to use up the magnum primers. Would I need to reduce this charge or can I stay with the same charge?

Has anybody tried using Hodgdons Universal Clays in a .357 mag using 158gr JHP bullets? If so how much are you loading.
