Got a 50 .cal from cabelas, it is the hawkens style. How much powder do I want to use for this rifle at the range and for deer hunting?? I will only be shooting balls from it. Will this make a difference? Everyone has told me that the barrel wont be good for sabots. Is this true???

I purchased this gun a few years ago from a buddy in a jam. I gave a couple hundred dollars for it, but havent been able to find an accurate price for this particular 1911. Any Ideas?? GO VOLS

I was looking in Cabelas, and I saw this pistol. I dont know what it is about it...but I want it. I tried to order it, and the lady at Cabelas told me that they were so backed up with this pistol, that they would not recieve any more until march 25th. I need some real no B.S. about this gun...
