    Maryland Gun Laws

I live in Tennessee and will be traveling to Baltimore for a couple of days. Virginia has reciprocity so I'm good to the Maryland line. From what I've read, in Maryland, if the gun and ammo are separated in a vehicle (gun in glove box/ammo in trunk?) I'm legal. I worry about getting pulled over...

    Why is S&W 627 (8-shot 357) a $1,000+ gun?

Just got the 2 5/8 PC. As close to perfect as I've have had in 357. That N frame absorbs the recoil. It's very comfortable with the wood grips. I paid 950 for a used one with less than 100 rounds through it. Also came with moon clips and rubber grips.

    SW 500 Problem

Shooting my previously trouble free 500 today and it locked up on the first shot. Cylinder would not turn. The spent case appeared to be back against the frame. Got the cylinder open and could not eject the fired case. Had to drive it out with a dowel. No visible signs of over pressure. This is...

    First S&W 500 loads

I'm loading my first loads in the morning for the 500. My starting point for a Sierra 350 gr JHP is 40 gr of 296 with col 2.040. Any suggestions from the veterans of this caliber would be appreciated. I'm using New Starline brass with large rifle primers. Steve

    Beretta Model 21A Problem

Just got my wife a new 21A. It will fire the first round, cycle the slide enough to cock the hammer, but will not strip a round out of the mag and chamber it. Is there a simple fix or should I return the gun. Thanks in advance. Steve G

    X Die question

Thinking about starting to rifle reload. I already reload handgun and am familiar with three-die loading. My question is with the RCBS X Die set, having only two dies, does the sizer/decapper die also expand the case mouth, or does one have to purchase a third die for expanding? Thanks in...

    686 Question

My 686-6 leaves a more shallow dimple in the primer than my buddy's 686. This leads to occasional misfires on some reloads where I have seated the primer a shade too deep. When I have a misfire and then place the round in my buddy's gun, it fires. Is there an adjustment I can make or do I need...
