    Another AR assembly

Has anyone used Advanced Ordinance out of Daytona for uppers? I'm thinking of matching a complete upper to a lower that I will assemble from Spike's components. I know Spike's has a good name. Just curious if anybody can give good or bad on AO.

    Cleaning question for 91/30 folks

I went shooting my 91/30 yesterday. Came home and started cleaning. First thing I did was run a bunch of boiling water down the the barrel. Next, several swabs with Hoppe's. Then a brush. More Hoppe's. Then more Hoppe's. Eventually, a few Boresnake passes. More Hoppe's. Overall, I would say more...

After scrubbing, I can run patches with the jag untill it comes out clean. Scrub again. Run more patches. They will be dirty...

    Ruined P6 grips

I bought one of the surplus P6's. Shoots great! I really like it and other than maybe having the slide refinished to bring it back to new condition from the holster wear, I really want to leave it as I got it. In other words, not looking for pricey wood or aluminum grip changes. However, I...
