    Good Dog horn

    Source for metric screws?

    I need 2 M-4 Metric machine screws. 1) They must be flat head (bigger at top and tapering down to shaft) 2) Slotted (no philips or anythng fancy) head 3) steel 4) preferably black/blue I've tried Fastenal and they only have philips or what not.

    horn nose

    Fitted a horn nose onto a muzzle loading squirrel gun (.30 cal RB). Years ago I tried pouring pewter but the quantity was too small and the pewter would cool off too fast and I'd get a poor casting. Hence horn was used.

    treating unstained ramrods

    Can anyone confirm that before putting an unstained ramrod to use, to soak it in a 50/50 mixture of linseed oil and turpentine? This is supposed to make it more flexible.
