Looking for ideas on some different wood grips for my New Model Blackhawk. I know Martin makes some nice custom ones but are there any other places that sell different kinds of wood grips for them? I think some light colored wood may look good. Thanks in advance for any replies.

The reason(s) I am asking about are: So many anti-gun people site so many studies, reasons, excuses etc to support their position that banning our right to posses firearms will lower crime but, I have never seen anything official that can prove that position. Does any provable reason(s) exist?

After reassembly this afternoon on my .357 Ruger New Model Blackhawk SA, the loading gate is very hard./stiff to operate. Any ideas on what might cause this? I had it apart to reinstall the original hammer spring. That's all I did.
