In the process of removing a stuck case from the de-cap resizing die, I think I must have scored the die inside (don't have a clue how) because all the cases now have little scratches on them. Anybody have any suggestions for polishing the interior of the resizing die or should I just chalk it...

    Primer interchangeability question

This seems like kind of a goofy question, but I've never found anything that addressed this issue - are primers interchangeable at all? I'm not talking Winchester WLR and Remington 7 1/2 SR. I'm talking about CCI 400 and Remington 6 1/2 Small Rifle and others primers which are the same size...

    Barrel compatability

I have a Westernfield 12ga pump, vintage about 1964. It is mostly a Mossberg 500 (I think). I would like to buy a second barrel for it which I can cut down for S-D purposes. Can I use just any old similar vintage Mossberg 12ga pump barrel? If not, what do I need to look for?

In an effort to determine how much TFL'ers differ from most shooting folks, this poll is intended to simply learn what the average purchase quantity is when you buy ammo. Do not feel obligated to post any response in case someone is keeping track.

Chalk up another convert for the good guys....

I had some friends out today, to shoot. I have a range set up in my back yard, so it's pretty convenient. Anyway, one of the new shooters was a lady who was at least mildly anti-gun some years back. Her husband, although not much of a shooter himself (cured that today, also), has quietly...
