Took a few of my .38 Special snubs to the range today. I carry them every so often. Just staying sharp with them. My favorite is this old Taurus Model 85.

Got this Taurus Model 85 .38 Special off GunBroker for a bargain price. Auction was about top end and no bidders, so with minutes to go I made a lowball offer and won it.

Mine is a heavy barrel, laminate stock Ruger 10-22 Target with a Nikon 3-9 scope. At 100 yard off the bench, it holds 10 shot groups at just about 3/4 inch with Aguila 40 grain copper washed ammo.

free pic hosting Got a phone call from my local pawn shop, said they have something right up my alley just come in. Went and saw they had a vintage Rossi Model 43 in .22 LR with original box in very nice shape. $150 out the door. They know I love blued steel and wood guns.

Bought this old Rossi model 68 .38 Special for $120 on GB. Had some old J Frame knockoff grips I slightly modified and used a BK grip adapter I had to make a nice little truck gun.

Bought this SA Garrison in 9mm today. Will make a fine range gun!

I had an FN 5.7 MKIII, but it was always too big. Traded it today for a new S&W 5.7. Fits my hand so much better and has a great trigger!

Came home with three, nothing but fun, guns. S&W I Frame .32 Long, early Taurus 94 .22LR, and a little H&R 9 shot .22 LR.

Picked up a new Tisas Raider in .45 ACCP today. Pretty slick and very well made pistol.

Yup, but in .22LR. Grabbed this one today. It doesn’t even feel real it’s so light. It’s like 2/3 the size of a full size 1911, but all aluminum alloy.

Brought this one home today. An Astra 960 .38 Special. It is the same size as a S&W N frame. It has a pinned barrel and recessed chambers. Great trigger and just some good old fashioned honest holster wear. Not a bad gun for $355.00
