    best .22 pistol target ammo

I have an old High Standard .22lr pistol that I want to use for target shooting. I picked up a box of cheepy .22 ammo and the group size was 6 inches at 50 feet. I know the gun can do better than that. So does anyone have suggestions for a good brand of .22 target ammo? tstr

Calling all Break Free CLP users...

I just started using CLP because of the good recomendations here on TFL. But dog gone if it doesn't leave my gun just sloppy with oil. It's dripping out of the pores. How do you guys deal with that? I mean, every cleaning manual I've ever read says keep the oil coating light. Don

    Best solvent?

    Help with a P220

I've got a sig-sauer P220 and I want another mag for it. I tried Pro-Mag and none of the three magazines I got from them fed reliably. They all had to be modified to make them even work in the first place, and then one of them actually split open. Mec-Gar has apparently stopped selling them...

Free Afghanistan from the tyranny of terrorists.

There is no government in Afghanistan. Almost nobody recognizes the taliban as the legitimate government, including the Afghanis themselves. Therefore attacking Afghanistan and her people as a country is practically unjustifiable. Our war is against terrorists. And terrorists have taken...

    Help pricing a 10/22

I'm looking at buying a 10/22 from a friend and was wondering what a fair price would be. It is not a magnum. It is about 15 years old. The barrel is lightly rusted and in need of bluing. The rifling is in good condition. What would you consider a fair (not necessarily a bargain) price? Tstr

I've got a NAA mini .22short. I ran a standard hoppes copper cleaning brush through the barrel a few times with their heavy solvent. When I looked inside the barrel, the whole thing looked not scratched, but litterally gouged centripitally all up and down the barrel. Is the mettal of those...
