given a choice in the same make and frame size say an L Frame or Taurus equivalent..I don't think Ruger makes a five shot .44 special GP-100 (I wonder if it would be a good seller) would you carry a 5 shot .44 special or a 6 shot .357 magnum ?

do you break in your guns ? I see alot of posters who shoot a gun 100-250 times and give up on it. I have been told one should allow at least 500 rounds before it starts working as it ought to. Do you agree ?
