Today I had a rare opportunity to compare HK P30 with my Beretta PX4 and it seems Beretta trigger is much softer. I shot a few rounds in a hurry and now I'm not sure if that HK was SA/DA... Anyway, what are the opinions on which semi-auto has a softest SA trigger? Thanks in advance.

I have a Beretta PX4 since 2006; put maybe 2000 rounds through it. I've noticed recently progressing discoloring of initially black barrel. It's not as bad as it seems in the center due to reflection of a flash light. Still, is it a natural wear-out or else? Thanks.

Say I need my sporting Cynergy 12ga for HD. It has IC choke in one barrel and M in another one. Does it matter in which barrel to put buckshot 00? Do smooth barrels with no chokes (e.g. Mossberg 500) take in any buckshot? Thanks!

Not sure if I connect receiver with barrels in a wrong way or don't lube enough. I have Hoppe's 9 lubricating oil and break-free. What's the best for greasing the hinges? Thanks!

I got cynergy sporting with S, IC, and M chokes - and want to try Full (or else?) for trap. Where can I get it (for less)? I've seen Carlson's at Brownells. Any comments? Thanks.

If I compare similar O/U sporting models, Winchester is 25% less expensive than Browning - though I haven't seen any complaints on the former. Is it just branding issue? What's about reliability, longevity, and resale value? Thanks!

I've seen a nice piece in a local store (12ga, 30'' barrel). I do only trap with Browning gold semi-auto 12 ga, 28'' (once in a while on Sundays - no big ambitions). At this point I don't have intention to have two guns. Does it make sense to trade in my current gun for THAT Citori? Thanks!

I'm new to revolvers and just got a feeling that .357 and .38spl are the main calibers (which are rather powerful and expensive vs 9mm). I wonder why 9mm isn't that popular for revolvers as it is for semi-autos. Also, what may be an 'entry-level' caliber/revolver for plinking yet potent for HD...

The Browning manual is kinda vague suggesting to do this when the action become 'excessively dirty'. But how often should one bother to disassembly them for check-up? I do trap every (2nd) weekend, 100 shells or so. Thanks!

I'm thinking O/U for entry level trap and I'm surprised to see the sporting models (even without adjustable comb) may be $400+ more expensive than similar field models (e.g. Citori). Besides fiber sights, I don't see much differences in specs. Why is that? And how important is to have sporting...
