    Can't find a holster.

Looking high and low for a nice leather OWB holster for my 4.25" Cobra target. Everything I see is for a 4" barrel. Will these work with the 4.25 inch barrel?

    barrel/cylinder gap

Just out of curiosity I checked the gap of my revolvers. Always set my Dan Wesson at .004 thousands which works great, but my fixed barrel guns are as follows: 1978 Colt Python (My most accurate revolver) .006 Colt King Cobra Target .004 2022 Colt Python .005 Colt Cobra 38 Special .005 Colt...

Nobody told me about the 38 Super.

Been shooting for 50 years but never had any exposure to the Super. Got a good deal on a Dan Wesson PM-38 just because I needed another 1911. Wow didn't know what I was missing, been into it for a little over 2 years now and have fallen in love with it. Getting an honest 1400 fps. with a Hornady...

Substituting mag primers for std primers during shortage.

Wondering if this is feasible during the shortage for .45ACP, 38Special, 38Super, 9mm, .380ACP. and .45 Colt. Not there yet just looking ahead.

    38 special snubby loads.

Just bought a new 2" Colt Cobra and I took it out for the first time yesterday with some handloads. Also have an old Colt Alum. frame Agent. First up was a 158gr. lead semi wadcutter with 5.5gr of AA#5, which should yield about 750/800 fps. Very pleasant to shoot but shot about 3 inches high at...

    Favorite .45ACP powders

Tried a bunch over the last 45 years but have pretty much settled on the following: Bullseye for lead SWC's. HP-38 (WW231) and AA#5 for everything else. What all do you folks say? :)

New Colt Cobra target reloading problems

It appears the chambers of my new Cobra target have been bored short. It won't chamber my favorite 158gr. semi-wadcutter load. Reloads work fine in my 45 year old Python and my Dan Wesson. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Dilemma regarding Colt Cobra target.

Bought a Colt Cobra Target last week and have discovered a problem. After shooting a box a Remington 38 specials and 24 federal magnums I switched to my favorite target handloads. These were Missouri bullet company 158gr. semi-wadcutters loaded in magnum cases with 5.3gr. of universal clays...

    Guns you wish existed.

I would really like a Colt 1908 in 9mm with a decocker, boy that would really make my Sam Spade day. Here's looking at you kid.

    New P365

First off let me say that I don't care for striker fired handguns, only own one which is a Kahr P9 but to be honest until this weekend it has sat in the safe for a couple of years. Bought it for those really hot summer days for shorts and t-shirt attire, just could never get used to the no...

    double rifles

I'm watching an episode of gun stories featuring fine English double rifles. Joe starts out by letting you know the cost of a Holland and Holland would be the equivalent of a new house, car and boat. So who makes doubles these days and approx. how much do they go for?

    Question of preference

I'll start by stating mine. For waterfowl I like a pump and have been shooting the same Remington 870 for 50 years. Also served as my bread and butter gun for all purposes before I could afford to buy more. For Pheasant hunting my choice is a 12 gage O/U. Currently using a Beretta lightweight...

    New mfg. inland m1 carbine

Had some interest in the 1945 model when they first came out. Took a pass when I read some reviews about teething problems. Wondering if they got the bugs worked out.

Dream 1911, Glockettes need not reply

Already have a nice commander in .45ACP for CCW but if you won the lottery, whose pistol and what caliber would you buy? Lately I've become enamored with the .38 Super. A little to loud and to much flash for concealed carry but hey, I'm a millionaire now so custom ear buds and sunglasses with...

Getting the hots for a .41magnum

I'm a caliber junkie, I love reloading for all my firearms especially the odd balls. Never had a .41 mag. so it is starting to call out to me. Problem is the only one I'm interested in is the Smith 657 pre-lock mountain gun. Probably going to take a while to find but in the meantime I'd like...
