Bought one from Numrich that mounts in place of rear sight and uses a pistol scope. JUNK, recoil ate it up in 20 shots seems to be made of potmetal.

I know what the term is supposed to mean, but has any one ever had a true brush gun that worked? I shoot a 6mm that won't handle high grass in the way, but I also shoot a .444 Marlin that isn't far behind it. It's been my experience no bullet will cut brush and still stay on track or not come...

just loaded up some 7.62x54r with Sierra 150 grain SPBT bullets. I would avoid boat tails in this round, not enough bullet contact in case to be stable and keep OAL to spec.
