    Winchester bolt

    For a Winchester 1873 (original), what is the safest way to remove the bolt and firing pin? To do the least amount of damage. Is there a trick to it? I actually need to repair or replace the extractor. Thanks Bill Cook

    seating caps

    I have been shooting an original Remington 1858 and an original 1860 Army. I have been using CCI #11 caps, and these seem to be too large for the nipples. I need to squeez them slightly for them to saty on. Is there a better way? Bill Cook

    Sharps vs Hi-Wall

    I am currently looking for a "Long Range" Rifle. I am looking at the Pedersoli Sharps and the Hi-Wall. I would love a Shiloh, but.... 45-90 is my caliber of choice, I want a tang sight and hooded front sight. Is there anyone who has experience with both rifles? Bill C

    Nagant revolver loads

    Since I now have two and getting a third Nagant revolver, they might be nice to shoot. Has anyone worked up any good handloads for these. I find very little in any of my reloading manuals. I suspect that the loading would be similar to the 32-20 for pistol. Thanks Bill
