    1884 Springfield trapdoor

    Hi, I’m in the process of getting an antique 1884 made in 1891, it uses a 500 grain bullet, my question is I shoot 530 grain Postells in my Sharps, would they work in the Springfield? Black powder only of course.

    Cleaning BPCR brass inside?

    I soake in hot water and dish soap, then tumble but it doesn’t seem to touch much inside the case so I use a wire brush in my drill which does the trick. Are there better methods that don’t need the wire brushing and how clean does it need to be really? I’m not bothered about the tarnishing on...

    Sharps 1874 and Reloader 7

    I’ve been shooting black powder in my Sharps 45-70 and am happy with BP, however I’ve been gifted some Reloader 7, I have some 405 gr bullets but can’t find any load data for that bullet. Anyone used it in the Sharps and can mention any data? Cheers
