I have a 10/22 from the 70s it used to fire with every pull now it dosent! I have took it apart oiled it and clean it still no good even with fresh ammo.

I was checking out my cases with the calipers and the inside neck is 216! This is after I deprimed and resized it. The bullet I'm using is 55gr. Soft point and the brass is winchester.

I am on seating 40 cal. All the other steps I did already. I am using Lee dies. Now my problem is this the book say a col of 1.125 so I set the plug in the dies after I made a dummy round to 1.124,the next was 1.117 it chamber in the gun but is that ok? I'm using 601gr of Imr 4064.

Next year I'm thinking about going on a predator hunt either in Montana or Idaho for wolfs. I have to make a choise on what rifle to take,either a 243 or a 308. I would think with the 243 with Barnes TTX would be a good choise but thoes things weigh from 75 to 95lbs. I dont really want to take...

I'm new to reloading 40 cal. I just want to ask When expanding the case do I just real quick lift it up into the die? Because if I go all the way the bullet drops in the case.
