    AR-Comp and 62gr fmj

Hey fellas, I haven't been able to find any data for this load. I'm using starling 5.56 brass. #41 primers, AR-Comp powder and Hornady 62gr FMJ projectiles. My fuzzy math says 24.0-24.2 to start. Does that sound about right to you? Thank you __________________

    .223 62grain FMJ

Hey fellas, it's been a while. I hope you are all well. I just started reloading. 223 for my ARs. I loaded some 55grain bullets but I want to stick to 62 grain FMJ bullets from Xreame bullets. I've got some Varget and IMR4064. I know the 4064 doesn't meter well but I'm weighing every load and...

    Slugging a 44mag Rossi 92 barrel

I never learn, I bought another new Rossi 92 44 mag that has basket ball groups at 50 yards. I'm guessing the barrel is over size which is a common problem. I'd like a suggestion on a lead bullet, ball or fishing sinker to use for slugging the bore. I have some 1/4 egg sinkers that are too...

    Seating the Hornady 44c (.430) 225gr FTX BULLET FLEX-TIP

Happy Friday to all.. I think I have everything I need to load this round but I'm a little concerned about seating the bullet. I'd love to hear from those who have used these bullets. I've read that there could be some damage to the flex tip and or plating using a standard Lee die. Any help...

    Frankford Arsenal Platinum

Good afternoon, I hope all is well with you and yours during these crazy times. I did a little research on this tool. I didn't want to bump up a 2-3 year old thread so I thought I would ask, again. I'm looking at Frankford tool or similar. Hornady has a couple, one that plugs in and another...

    Varget = ?

Hello to all, I hope everyone is off to a good new year... I've really gotten the reloading bug. I think it's time to step up to. 223 and follow up with .308. I'm hoping to use the same powder for both and Varget seems to be one of the better ones to start with. I can't find Varget, I read...

How to M T the RCBS uniflow powder measure

Happy weekend to all. I generally unscrew the lock nut, unscrew the bushing all the way. This opens up the hopper and lets out as much as it can hold per stroke . Is there an easier way to empty it, something I'm missing?

    Post Sandy Hook

Hey guys, I had a long "nice story bro" thing going on but I'll get right to it. What was the hardest component to get when the SHTF at that time? I've read it was primers.

    Plated vs coated

Happy Sunday afternoon to all. I'm a big fan of the Hi-Tek coated Missouri bullets but there isn't a whole lot of information on them as far as load data. Is it safe to start with the plated data that I have ? Maybe you can share a website that will have load data for these. I'm looking for 9mm...

    .357 load for 18"-20" carbine/rifle

I hope I'm not asking too many dumb question. I've found it very hard to find info for longer barrel loads in .357. I've read great things about LiL'Gun and I'm thinking about trying this later. I've also read good things about 2400 and H110. So far, I have Alliant powders in 2400, Unique and...

    Nickle plated

Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to reloading. I just started loading for .38sp/.357 . I have a few nickle plated cases in my bag of .357 once fired brass. I'm loading just for plinking rounds. Should I treat these cases just like brass or toss them in the recycle bin. Thank you
