Finished a Flues model rebuild. General repairs to the action and lifted some dents from the barrels then new wood. Finished with color case hardening and cold blue barrels and trigger guard. New screws and pins as well as a Ithica butt plate. IMG_0242 by Oliver Sudden, on Flickr

Tried this little fellow out at 25 yards and with lite loads it grouped but a full chamber blew the group. Five with the line on the hole is with 10 grains of 3fg.

Shooting a Walker often has the loading lever dropping at each shot. I noticed the lever on this one doesn't come up to the barrel so I knocked the lever spring out and filed the base down were the lever contacted it. Reinstalled it and now it lets the lever come fully up to touch the barrel...
