My wife got me a new glock 21sf gen 3 for Christmas. I noticed that the serial number on the frame matches the number on the slide and box. The barrel has a different number. Is this normal? My g19 all match.
Does anyone know what the robar texter is? Is it some kind of a coating or is it more similar to a typical stippling process? Thought about looking into getting it but not sure I like the idea of making that kind of texture by having my frame melted that much.
357 mag or 44 mag rifle?
Does any one have any experience with either of these with deer. I already know they are not 300 yrd rifles. But would they out perform a 410 slug. I'm looking to possibly get my son (almost 8 yrs old) something to hunt with and was wondering how they perform. Also...
Is it possible to build a 700 without a lathe? I know Brownells sells an action facing tool that would eliminate needing a lathe for the action. But what about the barrel. Are shillen or another company barrel good enough that a lathe is not needed for correct length into the action. I would...
I've read where people are using bondo to fill hollow stocks. I'm wondering if it would be better to use glass bedding instead. I recently picked up a Mossberg ATR and I am planning on filling both the butt and forearm to add weight. Yes I want it heavy for recoil control for my son. After I...
I went to my first medium range rifle course the other day, and preformed horrible. Targets were from 200 to 660 yard. I thought I had my rifle properly zeroed at 300 yards. However I believe I was mistaken. I am completely new in calling the wind witch was a large part of my problems. Witch...
What would a fair price be on a lightly used 686 6 inch barrel 357 with no box paper work or anything. Just the revolver it's self. I haven't seen it personally. I'm checking for a family member that was asked if they wanted to buy it. The person selling it asked $600.
Is it possible to buy a stripped glock frame. I'm thinking about using ZEV parts to make a glock 19 but didn't want to have to buy a whole pistol then have a hole slide, barrel, and recoil spring laying aroud.
Witch bolt action military rifle is the easiest to sporterize? Based on aftermarket part availability and work involved. Also I would like to keep the original price of the gun on the lower range. I know mossen are cheap but what else is out there?
I picked up a can of clp powder blaster recently. After a day at the range with my walther p22 I decided to try it out. Not only did it clean well it also ate the dura coat that i painted the slide with about 4 years ago. I'm not sure if it is the cleaners fault or my fault years ago mixing the...
Hello to all. I am new to this forum and hopefully putting this in the right place. I inherited a Remington 722 chambered in 222 Remington a few years ago when my father passed away. I have finally had time to clean it up and start working on a load for it. While cleaning it I noticed that there...
