Nickel or Stainless Steel?

Which is a better guard against corrosion - Nickle, as in the Rem 870 Marine, or, Stainless, as in the Mossburg Mariner. Anyone have experience with either model?

Let me start by saying, I am currently Glock-less, having sent my G19 #EPD.... in for the upgrade. I miss it dearly. My question is ... If you were looking to purchase a Glock and found one with an "E" serial number, would you shy away from buying it?

"UNFORTUNETLY" as Jackie put it, my G19 is one of the guns to be upgraded. If you Don't know, it's not all E series guns, just some. Send them the frame and they replace it with a new one. The new serial # will be 1EPD4***.

Does "FTF" mean Failure To Fire or, Failure To Feed? I always thought it meant Failure To Feed, but in another post they referred to FTF as Failure to Fire. FTF - failure to feed. FTE - failure to eject. Right?
