Just out of curiosity, I tried an AI application to project what a future version of me using firearms might look like, and it came up with this. I'm not sure what to make of this.

I just got an e-mail notice from SWFA that their own brand of fixed magnification scopes are back in stock--and on sale. I haven't seen these in stock for the last 5 years or so--and for under $300 I have never seen a scope made by anyone that equals it in robustness and value IMHO.

This is a very interesting new model to me--it appears to be a nod to the home-builder who wants to customize it to their own tastes since they also are offering actions alone. I'm not sure how the vanguard will survive unless it's going to be offered as a cheaper "one and done" alternative...
