    Buying a New Shotgun

I am in the process of buying a new shotgun. I want a shotgun that will be at home shooting skeet hunting doves and hunting turkeys. I'd like to stay under $350 and preferably something with a length of pull less than 14.5 inches. I am looking at the Stoeger p350 Remington 870 Winchester SXP...

    C&R License

I am debating on whether or not to get a c&r license. I buy 1-3 c&r guns a year so I am trying to figure out if it is worth the hassle of getting one and will it change the way I buy non c&r guns. Also how often does the BATF audit c&r holders? Any comments are appreciated.

    Mossberg 835 Stock

I have a mossberg 835 and the length of pull is a little too long. Shooting 3in mag turkey loads is not a problem but when I step up to 3.5 i can really notice it. I want to shorten the stock by about and inch. If I shorten the stock rather than attaching the recoil pad back to it could I just...

    Pitted Barrel

I have Mossburg 835 that I bought and I didn't look down the barrel when I bought it (stupid mistake by me). I got home and looked down the barrel and there was minor pitting to the inside of the barrel. The gun is safe to fire but will it effect accuracy. The gun will most likely be used soley...

I am planning on getting an ffl out of my house. What steps should I take and what should I expect? I realize there are companies offering a guarantee to be approved but I do not really see the need to spend the extra money. Also is there any requirements for a number of transfers or sales and...

    Buying dilemma

I am wanting to buy some new but I am unsure of the route i should take. I have it somewhat narrowed down between a Winchester 30-30, Shikara 45-70, NAA 22lr mini revolver, or a Heritage Rough Rider convertible. Savage 22 fte

I have a savage stevens model 62 in 22lr that has an issue with fte. The rifle kicks the spent casing toward the side of the chamber crushing the casing and partially loading the next round scuffing or bending the bullet. Any ideas as to what is causing this problem or ways to fix the problem.

    1889 Swiss

I recently just bought a 1889 Swiss rifle made in 1892. I was under the assumption when I bought the rifle it was a k31 but inexperience took over. The rifle is chambered in 308 with a 308 stamped on the barrel as well the Swiss markings. It has all matching numbers and no import markings. My...
