November 2012 issue's cover photo (nicely done BTW) shows the U.S. Flag moral patches worn vertically. I would have "assumed" horizontally. Is there a significance to the flags being vertical, or just the way the subject likes them? Yes, there are dumb questions. Sorry, but curious.

Name finally reached the top of the list. Ruger SR1911 now in possession. First thoughts ............ Looks good. Grips a little smooth for me, diamonds are flat and with urethane applied after "pressed" checkering they have no bite. Had to put on some VZ Operators. Trigger averaged 6 Lbs...
