I am looking for different revolvers that use the .45ACP round. Would like 4 to 6" barrel length. I see a lot listed using .45 COLT. I honestly do not know the difference between the different .45 rounds.

Anyone have one? Thinking about getting one with a 6" barrel. Like the looks and the wife wants a revolver, she doesn't want a wimpy .22! Good/bad/indifferent? They have 2", 4" and 6" barrels available, she wants the big one! (Be nice now) :D
