    New M&P9

Using small grip insert. It feels fantastic in the hand relative to the Glock. The plastic work is not on par with Glock or HK. The front of the dust cover looks like someone did a poor grinding job. The slide finish is fine with some spots where the finish did not " take ". The trigger break is...

    Safariland 578GLS - The best $50 you'll ever spend on a holster

The amazing thing about the 578GLS is that it does not scratch a handgun. The set screw insures you yave the right tension for secure carry. The GLS mechanism is genius and much more instinctive and far safer than the SERPA. I use mine with the paddle augmented with a belt----stable enough to...

Our Firearms Rights Are More Danger Than Ever Before

My purpose is not to debate the merits of the last two major SCOTUS rulings. My purpose is to point out that the SCOTUS is now overtly legislating from the bench. Thusly, our right to keep and bear arms is in grave peril.

.40 is assuming an intersting and unexpected role IMHO.

The difference in cost in bulk quantity between 9mm and .40 is not that pronounced-----maybe $50 more per thousand in my recent experiences. I am not sure why this is the case perhaps its due to the large Government contracts that could be creating excess supply of .40 while it seems to continue...

How to respond in the aftermath of a gun tragedy.

" I understand how you feel right now. I have a family and I can't imagine what the families of the victims are enduring right now. Firearms are dangerous and must be handled with great care. They may not be for everyone. It would be wonderful if we could ban all guns and the risk of any more...

Do you ever stop and think how blessed we are to have the gun rights that we have?

Can you imagine that Russian soldier in Stalingrad fighting for a Mosin and five or if they're lucky, ten shells? Can you imagine how thankful they must have been to be armed? Hey it's anyone's right to do whatever they want to but I read so many stories about someone going ape over a scratch...

Why mags make a difference when buying an NIB Pistol.

Two manufacturers make comparable pistols. One has a selling price of $499.00 for a hammer fired DA only and comes with one mag. The pistol has no street cred from wide spread use by agencies or forces. The other has a selling price of $539.00 and comes with three mags. This handgun has...

Is this normal for a G4 Glock 22 Frame?

Made 12/2011, 1000 factory 180 grain FMJ rounds downrange, no malfunctions of any sort including brass to the face, the RSA is seated properly during re-assembly. Thanks for your insight. It appears to be acute versus chronic-----ergo it's not progressive. Yes I know you like the shoes. They're...

:( My Gen. 4 Glock 22 EXPLODED at the range today!!!

......well there were 200 controlled explosions. :D 'Ran through 100 rounds of Wall of China Mart Remington UMC 180 Grain JHP and 100 rounds of Federal 180 grain FMJ. The weapon was flawless. The trigger is the best I have ever used on a Glock. Recoil has gone from snappy to what I call a little...

Yea or Nay on Yugo Zastava SKS circa 1970?

Looking at one of these to keep as a plinker. What do you think about them? They seem to be built like a tank and probably something that would work well with all the cheap steel cased 7.62 x 39 ammo on the market right now. Thanks for your input.

    PAST

Since we have had the Single Action thread----or "Sangle" as they say here in Texas, why not have a PAST thread----Point And Shoot Technology. Who else here ascribes to this pistol packing mantra----no levers, no bells, no buttons -----just pull the trigger and shoot---PAST? As I get ready to...
