Saw a good deal on ammo listed as "Russian made .223". Can this be used in an AR 15 chambered for 5.56? I know there is a dimension difference, but I think I remember you could use it in the AR. It's using 5.56 ammo in .223 rifles that might cause a problem. Correct?

Want to mount a red dot on my AK. Hate to pay $90 for an Ultimak. I see barrel rails for about $10. Would the heat affect the zero? Thanks.

Any recommendations as to a scope for an AR15? Don't really like the red dots. I suppose I could use the original military scope (1x) but since my eyes are not as great as they were 30 years ago, need some magnification. Maybe 4x or so? Prefer to keep it under $250 if possible. Thanks.
