The kids and i went out with the neighbor in north dakota to sight in the rifles for hunting & he told me a scope formula for distance, like 25 yds same in the scope as 100 yds, but adjust 1/4 inch for 50 yds and 1/2 @ 75, or something to that effect. does anyone know the exact formula?

We are now in the laredo area and need info on catching, cleaning rattlesnakes and caring for its hide.

Has anybody ever skinned a possum to use its fur? Also, are they a good source of fat. My Grandma didn't want them, supposedly, because they were too greasy. I thought they might be a good source of fat to rend.

Curiosity here. What is the general rule of thumb for when a deer meanders onto adjacent private property after being shot. I know of several people who quit tracking there. If you were a property owner, would you prefer I continued to track the deer, or stay off the land?

I need help putting the bolt back in my Ruger 30-06 Sprg M77. It was removed by a friend so it could fly, but having extreme difficulty getting it past the safety. Everything lines up, has to be something simple I'm missing. :mad: HELP!! Shell
