Is there any difference in carrying a 9C with safety off and a MP 9 that has no thumb safety? Don't really want to carry it if you have to have the safety on to keep from blowning a hole in my leg:)

I am curious how people go about selecting safe shooting backstops while hunting. I see alot of hunting blinds around in the middle of open fields. I assume people are counting on bullet drop over the mile or so of land between them and the next home on the other side of the county block.

I inherited a 44 Mag Marlin and I am curious just what kind of animals you hunt with 44 Mag. It seems too big for small game and too small for big game.

Has anyone ever gotten there 91/30 barrel clean, I have been using Hoppes 9, run a wet brush down then run a few patches down. I am one my 50th patch and they still come out black. Is it a waste of time to try to get the barrels clean or does anyone have a better way of cleaning them barrels out?
