Has anyone ever rebuilt an S model? I know the mag release is different and the firing pin is different, but if I got one of these and wanted to have spare parts on hand for a “just in case” scenario, what parts from the FS would fit the S model. Thanks in advance.

I was looking to see when my Glock was manufactured to find out if I needed to do the 6 part upgrade. The serial number is DT062. Can anyone date my gen 2 glock 19. My research says it was manufactured in 98 but I thought the gen 3 was introduced in 98.

I picked up a used XD 40 that was made in 2004. I’ve read recently that there were issues with the locking block cracking on these. How prevalent were these issues and will SA correct them under warranty? I’ve tried the XD forum but haven’t had much luck there. Thanks in advance.
