Anyone shoot the Browning Buckmark rifle yet? I got the one without sights, with the bull barrel. It shoots well, but I was expecting better accuracy. But then again, it is not an Anschutz. It is a good off-hand rifle for squirrel. A little pricy also, but all-in-all, I am happy with the purchase.

I've got some .357 mag casings just sitting around. If I loaded them up with 125gr jacketed hex hollows and a charge of 5 grains(231 Winchester), what would be the difference in fps and enery? That's the normal load for 38sp. I don't need exact figures, just ball park.

I use Winchester 231 and it is sometimes smoky. I have double-checked the charge and it is right. 158 grain LSWC with 4.3 grains of 231 powder for 38sp. I have a good crimp. But it is still a little smoky. What powder burns the cleanest?

Has your dog ever caught a squirrel? Mine chases them every chance he gets, but never catches one. The same goes for rabbit, birds, racoons, opossoms, and chipmunks. The chase goes on.............:D

I joined our local gun club's rifle match team. I shot a 344 in a 4-position/ .22 cal./ indoor/ 50ft. match out of a posible 400. Some of the guys shoot 399, or 398, or so. I would like to improve and thought there would be some good books out there to help me. Any ideas?
