How many of you do it? This is purely subjective, but it seems silly to put a Glock in a nice, leather holster. Now, 1911s, are MADE for quality leather holsters, and i have 2 milt sparks rigs for my 1911s. My Glock? she'll sit in kydex. ONLY kydex. :D

If you were walking around in your area, be it desert, forest, swamp, etc., how do you carry your rifles? With an AR, it's an easy task to flip off the safety on a chambered gun. With an M1A or AK, it seems like it would be much more difficult. Any thoughts?

i have ed brown's manual, and have been trying to take the mag release assembly out of a Springfield compact. i push the release in slightly, but i cannot get the screw to turn as instructed by the manual! any tips?!?!
