I want to re-finish my (blue finish) slide from my P89, but the local guy were asking $125 for it...seems a bit much. Plus a non-sense 6 weeks turn around time, no way I am handing my slide to him! Any suggestions?? Thanks

So I always feel weird after I clean my guns...my slide and grip always get so oily and that drive me crazy? I can't hold the gun tight because of it. I don't have the OCD issue...I just can't stand it...what do you do?:( PS. I used Smith & Wesson Lubricant & Protectant Spray bottle...
