    Thanks Mods for your help

Thank you to the Mods that helped with my account. While changing the email address in my profile, I was locked out and could only view the threads, couldn't post or PM. I contacted one of the Mods on THR who forwarded the problem here. Problem has been cleared and my account is back to normal...

    Browning BAR semi-auto timing latch

I'm hoping someone might know where I could find a Browning BAR Type 1 And 2 Timing Latch, it's # 71 in this link: http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/ctgy/browning-bar-rifle-parts Browning has discontinued the part and MGW, Numrich, Jack First, Sarco and quite a few others don't have it...

    Hogue rifle stock

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the Hogue rifle stock with the full length bedding block? Their pillar bedded stock has too much flex in the fore end, and I'm hoping the bedding block extending into the fore end takes care of that problem. Thanks for any info.

I definitely need help as my search hasn't been helpful. I am looking for a picatinny base for a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 long-action, not the magnum action. The one-piece Redfield base mounts the scope too far forward, and the extension rings only bring it back 1/2". The picatinny will let me...

    Python question

I'll be looking for a Python at this weekend's gun show. I know that during the late 80's into the 90's Colt was having financial problems and moved the Pythons out of the Custom shop into their production line. I want to avoid purchasing a pistol made during that time. Does anyone have a...

American Hunters and Shooters Assn is ANTI-GUN

I did not find any thing on this during a search, so here is a brief article as quoted from American Handgunner Magazine: The American Hunters and Shooters Association (AHSA) is masking itself as a pro-gun, pro-hunting organization. However, if you dig deeper, we found the president of the...
