    FBI gun death stats

Anybody got that link to the FBI firearms death statistics, showing more people killed with hammers, etc than with rifles? I lost my notes ... DARN!

Ban 'em ... Ban 'em all! Stopping the hqap madness.

I just saw a story on the nightly news that today's "run-of-the-mill" (but very high tech) scanners, copiers and printers are capable of producing counterfit bills that are easily passed to the unwary without some close scrutiny. That got me to thinking ... isn't about time that the government...

    The NRA Response

Personally, I'd have liked more fire ... but I'm also mindful that we're trying to calm things down, not escalate the fight ... YET! My attention was piqued when he was talking about school security guards and the numbers of retired LEOs and military, among others who might be tapped for these...

    Alternate to IMR/H 4895

I've always used H/IMR 4895 for most of my rifle reloading (6.5 thru 8mm, all the usual suspects) but I'm looking for an acceptable substitute. I already have some 3031 ... 4064 ... Benchmark. Question: If I were to pick up 8-16#, and shoot 140-150 grain bullets, which would YOU pick?

    First, CC, Second, Castle Doctrine

Wisconsin's motto is: "FORWARD"! Well, it's about time. First we get concealed carry; a long, hard, up-hill fight, but we got it! Now, both the Assembly and Senate have passed a Castle Doctrine bill. I do not know all the particulars yet, but the "defender" is now afforded both criminal and...

Need help selecting a "car" gun

We're within days for concealed carry here in Wisconsin and I'm at the point where I need to come up with a "car gun". I'm disabled to the point where I still drive, but won't be walking around with my wife when she's in the mood for some "serious" shopping. I'm thinking of something like a 2"...

LSA as a lube for bolt/semi actions?

Waaaay back in the day, LSA was our lube of choice for M-14's, M-16's, M-60's and everything else we used. My question is how good is it today for use in bolt and semi actions as a general lubricant for things that rotate and for things that slide?

    Myths vs reality ...

I have some old IMR-4227 (8# metal can) and also some newer H-4227 and wonder about switching over to H-4227 when I'm out of the IMR. So the question would be ... what, if any, interchangeability would there be between the two powders? I realize they do not have the same burn rates and aren't...

Tutorial On Brass Shotgun Shell Reloading

Folks ... I've been reloading for about 20+ years now, but only for rifles and pistols. I have a couple of cowboy action 12 gauges and a really sweet Martini 12 gauge and I'd like to get a brief tutorial from you on the proper and safe reloading of 2-3/4", 12ga brass case with a mild load ...

If it's not an inappropriate place to ask for this, I need a Lyman .25 ACP "M" Die. It's no longer listed on the Lyman web page. If anyone has such an animal and are willing to part with it ... please let me know.
