    .32 Zastava m70 rear sight

My son just got himself, sight unseen, a milsurp Zastava M70, a Tokarev-ish pocket gun in .32 Auto. Anyway, per him I'm guessing it's a kludge added for the ATF sporting purposes test. He says the original rear sight is not in the box. Anyone have a clue where to get the proper rear sight...

    3" Taurus 856

https://www.taurususa.com/firearms/revolvers/taurus-defender-856/ New, a 3" barrel of their 6 shot small frame .38. This is interesting.

Modern holster for once popular now passe gun -- Ruger P90

I got it into my head the other day that I would like a modern design holster for my Ruger P90. By "modern" I want molded kydex, "taco" style wraparound or "pancake" style two layer, with snap loops, worn strong side IWB. Possibly, potentially, AIWB. I "don want no" Fobus. Not interested in...

S&W warranty servcice, how long to replace?

How long does S&W take to turn around a gun? I sent in my 642. It arrived 4/11. On 4/25 I got an email saying I assume this means the gun will be replaced. 2 weeks later, no one's heard a thing yet. It's not a gun I need. Just wondering when I should turn into an annoyed customer.

Seen on the Internetz: Pistols & Optimizing vs. Satisficing

I stumbled across an article the other day, that articulates well the problems I percieve with the way most "what gun do I get?" and "what gun/'platform'/cartridge is best?" gun forum discussions go. Pistols & Optimizing vs. Satisficing And he goes on from there.

The search for the perfect grip begins again. J-frame "combat" grip

I picked up a S&W 642 a little bit ago. Pretty much exactly the same as a million others out there. My first actual J-frame. The little boot grip the factory put on it has got to go. I really like the Uncle Mike's rubber "combat" grip I have on my Taurus snub. For me, it's close to perfect...

Hemming and hawing, LCR vs. S&W 442

Threads I'm seeing on this are a bit old, so I thought I'd start a new one. I've sold off my Charter Undercover. It shot well, but the transfer bar broke 3 times. I don't trust it for the long term. The proceeds of that sale are going to be spent on a replacement. The niche to be filled is...

Lee Micro Disk (being made again by 3D printing)

A Facebook post pointed me to this: http://www.titanreloading.com/titan-micro-charge. Lee's Micro Disk for their Autodisk powder measure, is being made again by a third party. (What is this? Metering disk with extra small holes, for the Lee Autodisk and Pro Autodisk powder measures. Lee...

    Lee Autodrum powder measure.

Just spotted this in Lee's 2015 catalog. FS Reloading shows it in on their site, with no specified availability date. Lee Auto Drum copy/paste from the catalog pdf, page 17. Case actuated. So you can mount it on your Classic Turret (or other press of choice), without spending a bunch...

    Yet another new Ruger

3" barrel, LCRx with adjustable sights. http://www.ruger.com/products/lcr/specSheets/5431.html OK, that's interesting. Not quite what I want. Yet.

    Charter's transfer bar

Charter's transfer bar seems somewhat fragile. I just broke mine, in my Undercover, the second time this year. (Gun was bought June of last year.) The flag thing on top broke right off. Looks like crystallized metal. This gets dry fired a lot. I don't see anything in the manual about...

    Ruger SR9 "E"

Ruger slips in a new model. SR9 E "Everything you need and nothing you don't" Looks like for this model they've dropped the loaded chamber indicator and gone with a fixed rear sight. But they retain the thumb safety. I can't tell if the magazine disconnect is still there. Interesting.

primer seating depth, flush with base, causing misfire problem?

The last couple outings with my Bersa .45, I've seen a number of light strike failure to fire problems. Restriking (it's a DA/SA, so this happens naturally) did not make these fire. Firing pin protrusion and function appears to be n ormal. These were all my handloads. I did not have any...

    Galco Triton, anyone used one?

I contemplate getting a Galco Triton IWB for my snubby. Anyone used one? Anyone whose used one, got an opinion on it? Thanks.

Need to find a Taurus grip screw.

I picked up from an ebay auction something that I've been intending to get for a while, a nice looking factory wood stock set for a Taurus small frame revolver. Alas, this one came without grip screw. "No problem, I'll have something that will work." No so, it turns out. The half dozen or so...

Good dealer for transfer in Manchester, NH or New London, NH?

Just like the title says. I need to find a dealer who can ship a handgun to my dealer in IL from New Hampshire, either the Manchester area (where the deceased lived and police are currently holding the gun) or the New London area (where my lawyer is). Hopefully one that won't break the bank...

Lee Pro 1000 roller handle upgrade

{Edit. Copyrighted image deleted. Please read the TFL copyrighted material policy.} The upgrade to the new style lever on the Lee Pro 1000 -- anyone tried it? Worth getting? Lee's and Midway's verbiage. (This is kind of a focused question. This is the progressive I've got, I get good use...

    Pricecheck, EAA Witness 9mm

Gun enthusiast discontentment time again. Pricecheck: EAA Witness 9mm, blue, with 5 of what appear to be ban era reduced capacity magazines. Probably the old style small frame. (Newer Witnesses all use a single frame size, is my understanding.) Appears to maybe be a compact instead of full...

Ruger P90, this doesn't look right.

I noticed this the other day. I thought I would run it past the pooled ignorance collective wisdom of the Internet gunforum world before I called Ruger on it. There appears to be a chip out of the steel, right next to the breech face, in my P90 slide. I'm not sure what to make of it, and if...

    Taurus Millennium vs. Millennium Pro

A local shop has a 9mm Taurus Millennium for sale. Cheap, probably consignment. I'm contemplating it, just as a spare compact nine. This would be the proverbial "truck gun", or a loaner. What are the differences between the old Millennium and the Pro? I'm aware of the rear sight not being...
